I believe that music has two halves, very much like us. The first half is all about numbers and logic. The second half is about abstract reasoning and artistic creation. When these two halves are combined you have a whole being or consciousness. These whole beings in the music world are people like Michael Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Ron Miles, John Coltrane, and many others. My music philosophy is to learn and teach the ideals of classical technique and jazz sensibility.
